Fishermen – Dream and interpretation

My husband’s dream in nutshell:

In his dream, a big white plastic barrel had cracked, water was running out, giant living fishes slipped out, laying on the ground.

Explanation: the church in its recent condition not able to handle real Christianity. A lots of lives are wasted if we are not careful.

Long version of his dream.
My husband had this dream in 2018.

In his dream, he was fishing by a river with his father and brother. His father and brother are experienced hobby fishermen in real life. They caught a lots of giant fishes and kept them in a big white plastic barrel, which was full of water and plenty of fishes.

Suddenly the white barrel cracked, split open on the side vertically, water was running out, a lots of giant fishes found themselves out the water, on the ground, suffering in agony, without their element.

My husband did notice it, and within seconds he tried to press the crack on barrel, did strongly hold the barrel, because he was worried about the remaining fishes inside. It was hard to hold him the barrel without wasting any fish.

At the same time, the two great real fishermen, his father and brother was not bothered themselves at all of the wasting of so many fish. While my husband did hold the barrel with his two arms, his father and brother did not pick any fish from the ground. They did not help my husband, just were standing there, and hoping they will catch some more fish later.

Some explanation to understand the situation:

In real life, my husband is not a fisherman, but he used to go to help fishermen sometimes, at least once a year. Literally he is just sitting there while others fishing and he doesn’t have proper equipment.

His father and brother are so-called experts. They use to catch a lot of fishes and keep them in chest freezers. At least two chest freezers are full with fish.

In real life, his father and brother used to fishing at a lake, not by the river. But in the dream, they were by a river.

In real life, his father and brother are interested about fishes, and do not want to waste any of them. Despite of this, in the dream, his father and brother did not want to help my husband with saving the plenty of giant fishes. They were not interested at all about the fishes laying on the ground.

Explanation of the dream:

Fishes represents people.

Jesus said:

“Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Matthew 4

River represents God’s movements.

Fishermen who are not interested about saving the fishes, are the fake church leaders. They are experts in doctrine, but not acting as real Christians. A lots of church leaders right now are not interested about people, people are just numbers to them. Many times there are no real connection between church leaders and the people.

If a lamb wondering around and get lost, fake church leaders are not interested. They are not real pastors. Real pastor goes after the lost lamb, goind to find it and bring it back. Jesus is the real pastor.

My husband, who is not an expert fisherman, represents the new generation of Christians. New generation of Christians are interested about other people, and have a connection to people and have a heart about people.

In real life, my husband is not a Christian so far. I think he will belong the new generation of Christians.

The church in its current state is not able to handle real human problems. Its not able to hold and keep the people. A lots of people are died because of the mistakes of recent church leaders.

We need new barrels, new kind of Christianity. We need doers, we need new barrels, we need new kind of Church, which is strong enough to keep the big fish and small fish, every kind of fish.

The church right now is shaky, splitting, cracking, dividing, not strong. We need a new barrel, not an old worn out and used barrel.

Jesus said about the new barrels, new wineskins:

Matthew 9

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.  Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
