No more distractions – Focus on Jesus – Prophetic message – Labyrinth dream

Dream in nutshell: I was in a labyrinth of building with lots of hobbies, freebies inside. I had just one hour. I had to find the way out in time.

Short explanation: We are living in a time of distractions. If we are not wise, we will not able to find the exit. We have to focus on Jesus.

I have received this dream from Jesus today, on the 3rd of October, early in the morning.

In my dream from Jesus, 8 or 10 of us were waiting outside to catch a small plane. A smart organizer arranged everything for us, we had not to do anything. Even the organizer packed our luggages with all necessary things for our travel.

After our travel, there was a second trip on the second day. We had to be outside the building in due time. Surprisingly, there wasn’t any organizer to help us. We had to pack our luggages ourselves and we supposed to be outside of the building within one hour to catch the small private plane.

Under normal circumstances, it’s easy to pack a luggage within minutes, especially when you used to do lots of small and bigger travels. But there was a big problem. As soon as we entered into the building to find our room and pack our suitcases, we lost each other. Inside the whole building there was a big chaos. The whole building inside transformed into a big labyrinth. The usual 2 or 3 minutes route to my room to pick up a luggage became a long-long walk with lots of distractions. Even 10 minutes were not enough to reach my room. The whole building became a labyrinth. It was easy to get lost.

The other problem was the way back. The route to the way out was not the same route as the way in. And on the way back the problems multiplied.

The building itself was not a hotel. It was my old college attached with dormitory area. Our hotel rooms were in the dormitory area. In my old college, you can reach the dormitory area by walking inside the buildings. In the dream, I had to reach the dormitory area, because that place contained our hotel rooms, but at the dormitory area the gate was not open to walk outside with our suitcases. We supposed to go back to the entrance of college to go outside.

So first, as I entered into my old college building, I had to reach my hotel room in the dormitory area. The way there was part of a big labyrinth. As I entered into the building, I had only one hour left to catch our small plane.

As we entered into the building, a big chaos was waiting for us, not just the unknown labyrinth. The chaos was so big that the others disappeared beside me. Each of us had to find their own room and the way out.

As I walked inside the labyrinth, there were lots of rooms, one after another. In each room there were lots of freebies laying disorganized on the floor. A lots of people stopped at the piles to collect free things for themselves. Each room was full with different freebies, just piled on the floor. Some of the freebies were just half-done, without proper packaging. Because they were free, more and more people stopped and started to sort out the perfect items and collected plenty of freebies for themselves. Each room in the labyrinth contained newer and newer kind of freebies piled on floor in small piles in a disorganized way, without proper packaging.

For example one room contained blankets in textile bags and without textile bags and half-done blankets as well. The other room contained raincoats in bags and without bags and in half-done forms. All of the items were without quality checking.

At the first time, when I have seen the freebies, I stopped and started to sort out the blankets to find a perfect one. By doing this I started to forget my purpose to find my room with my luggage and catch the plane. When I realized that I almost forgot about my flight, I decided not to stop in any room to collect freebies anymore. As I walked through the rooms of the big labyrinth, I have reached the section of dormitory area in the building.

In that part, between the corridor of college and dormitory area, I was able to peek out of the back window. There was a large crowd of college students, hundreds (seemed thousands) of them celebrated something outside on the football field. There was a backdoor to them into the building. As I saw them I knew that within minutes the celebration is over and those hundreds or thousands of college students want to go inside the building. Because the masses of students supposed to flock inside the building within minutes and the exit door of dormitory area was closed, I decided not to pick up my luggage.

I turned back to find my way out. It was impossible to walk on the same route as before, I had to find out an other route within the labyrinth.

As I said, there was a chaos inside the building. I have already lost 20 minutes. I had left only 40 minutes to find the exit. The exit was at the same place where I entered into the building.

The way back was more difficult than the way inside. On the way out I was even lost once. Accidently I have found myself at a place behind a big storeroom of a huge industrial kitchen.

On my way back, more and more people tried to find the exit, but they were sidetracked by distractions. Even I was sidetracked for minutes with a cute dog and at a feasting table where I refused to sit down. There were lots of things and attractions going on in the building. The distractions were multiplied and the labyrinth became more and more difficult.

Even the floor became bumpy. A lots of stairs created with hundreds of ups and downs. Not only the steps of stairs were uneven, the surface of steps wasn’t smooth, but there where sudden holes in ground as well. So deep – where people might die if they had fallen.

A lots of attractions were going on as well. On a long wide corridor, where instead of floor, there were bumpy stairs with hundreds ups and downs. Alongside with the corridor there was a long-long climbing wall, with a climbing practice painted on the wall. It showed to the climbers, where they were supposed to be. The painted climbing practice was not a horizontal straight line, it painted with ups and downs as well. A lots of people started their practice, because organizers told them, if they were practicing, they could find the way out from the labyrinth. Because I did not believe their sayings, I continued my way on the bumpy stairs with ups and downs.

After I reached the end of the long-long corridor, I entered in a room. In this room, I lost my ability to walk. So I started creeping on the floor. I was able to move myself bit by bit. On the floor in that room a lots of freebies were piled on the floor in small piles in a disorganized way. I picked up one of the feebies. It was an elastic headband, at least that I thought. It was shiny, a silver base decorated with a shiny black ribbon. I liked it and I figured out I can carry it with me.

In that room, four or five girls were sitting on the floor, did they DIY work, creating headbands with bow – that’s what I thought. Then I realized there were a lots of cardboard boxes as well – like shoe boxes – with natural beige color in that room. The girls packaged somethings inside, than with the elastic headbands, they closed the boxes. So the headbands were not headbands, they were gift box decorations.

Near to me, one of the packaging girl became very lazy. She not wanted to move from her place. She started to look for more headbands – box decorations – around her of her sitting place but she did not find any for her last box. So I decided to help her, to give away my one and only freebie “headband” box decoration. As soon as I gave away my freebie, I was able to walk again.

I started to walk with more and more focus. Before due time, I have found myself in the college entrance hall not far away from the exit or entry door. Just 20 seconds away, there was the exit door. I almost reached my destination. From the one hour I had given, I did spend 20 minutes to reach my hotel room at the dormitory and the other 20 minutes to find my way back. 20 minutes of my way back seemed to be longer, but had found out later it was just 20 minutes.

The usual 3 or 4 minutes walk within the college buildings was so difficult thanks to the chaos, the disractions and the labyrinth. I had nothing with me. No luggage, no freebies. Nothing. Just me.

In my old college, the college entrance hall is a huge waiting room for hundreds of students and it is a place for concerts and celebrations as well, because it has a stage.

As I entered into the college entrance hall, construction workers had built a big concert stage. Some of the organizers were resting and hanging around. A lots of them started staring at me just for checking if I am a big star. As they did continue staring at me, thinking I must be a big star, I noticed that my body completely changed. My skin was shining, my face was shining, my whole body was glowing. I was as skinny as I was in my teenage years. I have curly and wavy hair in real life, but here even my hair was changed. My hair became very-very curly, bouncing with volume and shining with lots of sunshine. My whole body and hair was shining and was sunshine on me – inside the building. And my dream was over.

This dream was like an alarm for me. Coincidentally a siren test was going on in the whole country today.

Explanation of this dream.

The big chaos is our life. The labyrinth is our life.

The labyrinth, the bumpy floor, the feebies and attractions represent distractions. These are sidetracking our life. You can spend hours on Youtube, facebook, and you will easily forgot about our destination. We have to focus on Jesus.

…let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Hebrews 12:1-2

In the middle of labirynth I saw a large crowd of students wanted to come inside the building to find the exit as well. When I was seeing this, I have changed my mind. Instead of picking up my luggage, I decided to find my way out empty handed. This time the whole route inside the building became like a competition. I always had to be ahead of masses. If you have a prophetic gift, you have to run ahead.

Walking ahead of time was like a competition in this dream. When we focus on Jesus, we are able to run.

Some words of the Bible about competition:

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.  No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

I Corinthians 9:24-27

We have to be aware of sidetracks, distractions. We can easily lost our time with hobbies, shopping, etc. For example I have a lots of fights against distraction in my everyday life. I have to learn to focus.

Freebies in this dream represent disractions of our free time. How do you spend your free time? In our free time, we have to focus on Jesus, otherwise we are not able to reach our destination.

Be wise with your time. In your free time spend time with Jesus as well. Collect your oil with Jesus.

Jesus said:

Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Luke 11:23

In the dream on my way back in the labyrinth, I lost my ability to walk. I was able to get a headband – box decoration – freebie for me. When I helped the girl with my only freebie and I focused on other people’s needs, I was able to walk again.

…strengthen your weak knees, for as you keep walking forward on God’s paths all your stumbling ways will be divinely healed!

Hebrews 12:12-13 TPT

We have to humble ourselves. Jesus is humble.

Jesus said:

“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”

Matthew 11:28-30 TPT

At the end of the dream my appearance completely changed. My body was shining, my hair was shining and sunshine was all over me inside the building.

Meaning: if you humble yourself, you will be exalted.

For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

Luke 18:14 NIV

All the glory should go to Jesus.

You can be like a star on the sky:

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

Daniel 12:2-3 NIV

All of the glory goes the Jesus. Glory to Jesus.

We are a generation with lots of free time. Collect some oil with Jesus until you can. Until you have time. We don’t know exactly how much time left.

Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.  The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil.  When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

“At midnight they were roused by the shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet him!’

“All the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. Then the five foolish ones asked the others, ‘Please give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.’

“But the others replied, ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves.’

“But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked. Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside, calling, ‘Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!’

“But he called back, ‘Believe me, I don’t know you!’

“So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.
